When Daughtry recorded its self-titled debut, there was no band; it was merely frontman Chris Daughtry and a team of studio musicians.  After assembling a band and spending a couple of years on the road, however, Chris Daughtry felt confident about including them in the creative process for the follow-up, “Leave This Town.”  Not only does the band perform on the album, they also helped write the new material.
