On this day in 1941, COLUMBIA PICTURES released YOU’LL NEVER GET RICH. Directed by SIDNEY LANFIELD this was the first pairing of FRED ASTAIRE and RITA HAYWORTH. A sharp script and great musical numbers make this worth checking out. Also, a very funny supporting performance from ROBERT BENCHLEY.
