Jason Bateman enjoyed working with Will Smith on Hancock, but don’t believe the rumors that he’s onboard for the sequel…just yet. The actor says he’s been following the gossip himself, but as for putting his own John Hancock onto Hancock 2, well that’s just Internet blather. Still, Bateman does want those producers to call him ASAP because he is game for another go ’round.

Update:  Hancock director, Peter Berg confirmed that both Will Smith and Charlize Theron are returning to their respective roles for the sequel, currently set for a 2012 release.
