On this day in 1936, RKO RADIO PICTURES released SWING TIME. Directed by GEORGE STEVENS (!) from a script by HOWARD LINDSAY this all-singing, all-dancing show biz story is one of the great Hollywood musicals. Considered one of the best of the ten films that FRED ASTAIRE and GINGER ROGERS did together.
