I think I will like the mew house. Let me tell ya "NLP", the only reason why most people watch house is because we see the character suffering. In some way, he reflects us.
Once the show becomes lighter, I believe people are going to turn away from it.
Hugh Laurie is doing a hell of a job keeping up the character. Some insights on why he is miserable is given in the first episode of season 6. It gives him the creative edge. A sort of fortunate affliction, much of what Van Gogh had, when he drew those paintings in an asylum(where he was assumed to have more than 15 psychiatric disorders). Once house rids himself of the pain, maybe he wont have his creativity.

They're going to "the dark side"? Are you kidding me? Seriously? Seriously?

They've been on the dark side since Tritter! I think that, as much as I love Hugh Laurie, I may actually give up on the show for good if they plan on going "darker." Is "darker" partly code for "making House as grizzled & unattractive as possible"?

I can’t be the only one who never wished for fixing things that weren't broken. Of course the show was & is formulaic. If you like the formula (which millions did) watch it. If you don't like the formula, don't watch it. I want the old House, the lighter, Seasons 1 & 2, House back. Clearly I’m not getting him.

I think Shore & Co. no longer care about the viewers; instead, the show’s become a vanity piece for them. I’m already at the point where I no longer watch "House." I watch Hugh Laurie.
