I agree it would have been nice to shoot it at it's home "The Palace Theatre in New York. But there are some limitations on production. To do special video production you generally need a great deal of room to get the beauty shots with the crane cameras or Jibs. The palace theatre does not have the room to do the best job on this production. I did see the production at the palace theatre. It was sensational but like I said I feel there are limitations to record this show at its best. I do hope they consider releasing it in BLUE-RAY DVD, DTS-5.1 Sound. This would make many fans extremely happy to see the best technology used on this release. I had the pleasure of knowing the late Anthony Newley. He only did one concert for TV. What is sad it was never released on DVD. Another great artist is Steve Lawrence. He does not have one concert on DVD available. What is great about Liza is that she and her production team are giving the fans something to enjoy years to come. It is too bad that other promoters do not see DVD releases of prominient celebrities as another avenue to make some money. Those people less fortunate to pay the high price of a theatre ticket will gladly buy the DVD. I hope some day to meet Liza to thank her and her production team for this release.
