HOLLYWOOD OUTBREAK’s favorite mogul, producer/author STEPHEN J. CANNELL will be making an appearance in front of the cameras when he plays himself in the 9/21 season premiere of the ABC series CASTLE. Fans know that CASTLE is  about a crime novelist who assists the NYPD in solving mysteries. CANNELL is also featured in the Special Features section of the DVD release of the first season of CASTLE in a featurette titled CASTLE’S GODFATHER.

In other CANNELL news: Production is underway on the big screen version of his iconic 70’s TV series THE A-TEAM. Already signed on are LIAM NEESON, BRADLEY COOPER and QUINTON ‘RAMPAGE’ JACKSON. And we’re hearing that JESSICA BIEL and SHARLTO COPLEY are in talks to join in.
