On this day in 1988, 20TH CENTURY FOX released VAMPIRE’S KISS. Directed by ROBERT BIERMAN and starring NICOLAS CAGE this story of a contemporary executive who may or may not be a vampire set the bar by which over-the-top acting performances are judged. Cage, himself, admits that he may have stretched a bit far for this one but he is an absolute marvel to watch in a performance that never gets old.
