Jim Carrey is headed back to the classics. The actor is the voice of not only Ebenzer Scrooge, but also the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Christmas Yet to Come for the animated version of Charles Dickens‘ holiday staple A Christmas Carol.

Carrey has been down a road like this before, so when he was approached by Walt Disney Pictures to participate, he pleaded for a fresh take on the story.

A Christmas Carol, which also features the voices of Michael J. Fox and Gary Oldman, is slated for release November 6th of this year.
