Chris Colfer is having trouble wrapping his head around all the hype surrounding his upcoming series Glee.

It wasn’t that long ago that the actor was putting in time at his own high school in a small California town.

Colfer stars as Kurt Hummel, the first openly gay character on the show. He’s gotten a taste of what fame has in store for him because of the already growing fan reaction – and that’s just from the pilot episode.

Now that the anticipation for Glee is off the charts, Colfer is prepping for a whole different life. But, it better be a quick learning curve…Glee premieres September 9th on Fox.
