cat_women_of_the_moonOn this day in 1953, ASTOR PICTURES released the low-budget sci-fi fave, CAT-WOMEN OF THE MOON.  Directed by ARTHUR HILTON, this tale of astronauts gone to the Moon only to discover it inhabited by feline women is beyond silly but features a pretty solid roster of B-players including, SONNY TUFTS, MARIE WINDSOR and VICTOR JORY. Good for laughs.
