On this day in 1967, M-G-M released POINT BREAK. Directed by JOHN BOORMAN from the novel by DONALD E. WESTLAKE this iconic crime story was part of the neo-noir movement of the Sixties. Grabbing on to the theme of ‘man vs. the machine’, this influential film stars LEE MARVIN, ANGIE DICKINSON, KEENAN WYNN, CARROLL O’CONNOR and LLOYD BOCHNER. There was a weak remake but the BOORMAN version was the real deal.
