The senator certainly deserved praise for his dedication to his country, but the media coverage was too ambitious and almost overlooked Mr. D. Dunnes passing.

Dear Lord welcome thy servant who tried to help all who reached out to him.He was not without sin nor is any man .Through his forty seven years in the Senate he did all he could to help his fellow man.Bless him lord have mercy on his soul.I pray all he worked for will come to be.Please bless his wife and children and all he loved.
