On this day in 1985, PARAMOUNT PICTURES released PEE WEE’S BIG ADVENTURE. Directed by TIM BURTON from a script by PHIL HARTMAN and PAUL REUBENS. BURTON brilliantly brings REUBEN’S PEE WEE HERMAN creation to the big screen as the infamous man-child goes on an adventure to find his stolen bicycle. It’s a delightfully surreal experience not to be missed.
