Fans of the film 300 will be thrilled to hear that STARZ will be bringing an epic retelling of Spartacus to the tube that should have blue-noses up in arms. At a press event for SPARTACUS: BLOOD AND SAND, the announcement was made that the series will be rated a ‘hard R’, feature nudity and graphic violence. SAM RAIMI (the director of the SPIDERMAN films as well as EVIL DEAD and DRAG ME TO HELL) is one of the producers of the series and he talked to the press about what drew him in.
