On this day in 1963, UNITED ARTISIS released TOYS IN THE ATTIC. Based on the play by LILLIAN HELLMAN, this story of a Southern familys repressed secrets was considered pretty steamy stuff in the early sixties. Directed by GEORGE ROY HILL, the film starred WENDY HILLER, GERALDINE PAGE, DEAN MARTIN, YVETTE MIMIEUX and  GENE TIERNEY.
