On this day in 1980, ORION PICTURES released CADDYSHACK. Directed by HAROLD RAMIS, this outrageously funny movie revolved around the membership of a posh country club. Leading the nonsense were CHEVY CHASE, RODNEY DANGERFIELD, TED KNIGHT, MICHAEL O’KEEFE and BILL MURRAY.  Classic comedy!
