Ashley Tisdale has been promoting her new movie, Aliens in the Attic, but she has also been quietly taking time out for a worthy trip. The High School Musical star volunteered for the Get on the Bus campaign.

Her contribution? The actress will be the celebrity volunteer for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to help build a new home for a family that just got much bigger.

The TV show traveled to Green County, Missouri to tell the Hampton family they were getting larger digs. Chris and Niki Hampton were contacted by social services and told they had just one hour to decide if they would take their four nieces and nephews in or let them go into foster care.

They said yes without hesitation to give a home to the children, who range in age from 8 to 2 years old.

The family will be treated to a Disney family cruise while Tisdale and the EM:HE revamp the 792 square foot home.

The episode will air in the new season OF EM:HE, which begins this fall.ashleytisdalepic
