On this day in 1959, M-G-M released NORTH BY NORTHWEST. Directed by ALFRED HITCHCOCK from a script by ERNEST LEHMAN, this story of government agents, mistaken identities and foriegn spies is one of HITCHCOCK’S best. CARY GRANT, EVA MARIE SAINT and JAMES MASON head-up a really great cast. A must-see for film fans.
