Mary Murphy, who has been a “So You Think You Can Dance” judge since the show’s inception, bears a certain resemblance to her “American Idol” counterpart (and fellow choreographer), Paula Abdul, when it comes to forging emotional bonds with the show’s contestants.  In fact, to try and understand them better, she’ll often try some of the different dance styles they’ll face.
