Rob Thomas has just released “Cradlesongs,” the second solo album for the matchbox twenty frontman.  Despite early reports that the album’s musical inspiration was based on Paul Simon’s 1990 album, “The Rhythm of the Saints,” Thomas told us the album quickly branched out into other directions.
