Director CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS (who has already taken on one successful y.a. franchise with the first three HARRY POTTER movies) is currently hard at work on the big screen adaptation of PERCY JACKSON & THE OLYMPIANS: THE LIGHTNING THIEF by RICK RIORDAN. And, even though COLUMBUS has lined up stars such as PIERCE BROSNAN, UMA THURMAN and ROSARIO DAWSON, it’s the casting of the title role he’s most proud of. We spoke with the director recently and he talked about his new find (someone we’ve been watching since TV’s JACK & BOBBY) LOGAN LERMAN. Listen in below:

I would flame him for being Percy. He is freaking 17 and Percy is 12. The person playing Annabeth is twice her character’s age and is tall, brunette, and could not do anything to do with Annabeth. EVERYTHING IS WRONG ABOUT THE MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

omg! i totally agree with jared. this movie is gonna be a TOTAL joke! annabeth is like 5 trillion years older than shes supposed to be. and wtf! she isnt blonde?! im mean percys actor is super cute but i hate him already cause hes tooo oldd! and they say how percy is supposed to be taller than annabeth in the last one. how is that supposed to happen with percy being like 10 ft shorter in the first movie!? he is 18 he isnt gonna be growin anytime soon! and no arch scene wtf! thats when perct realizes the length of his power. i HATE chris columbus

I argee this movie will be a flop like eragon. I will watch But i think there is way too many changes and isn’t grover Irsih in the movie he is black what the ****.
