Director CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS (who has already taken on one successful y.a. franchise with the first three HARRY POTTER movies) is currently hard at work on the big screen adaptation of PERCY JACKSON & THE OLYMPIANS: THE LIGHTNING THIEF by RICK RIORDAN. And, even though COLUMBUS has lined up stars such as PIERCE BROSNAN, UMA THURMAN and ROSARIO DAWSON, it’s the casting of the title role he’s most proud of.
