all-this-and-heaven-tooOn this day in 1940, WARNER BROTHERS premiered ALL THIS AND HEAVEN TOO. Directed by ANATOLE LITVAK and starring BETTE DAVIS and CHARLES BOYER, this film was definately an early example of what has become known as ‘Oscar bait’. It didn’t win any but was nominated for three and was a contender in the Oscar buzz talk of ‘40.
