We had the pleasure of attending last night’s Geffen Playhouse premiere of FARRAGUT NORTH, a clever political morality tale starring CHRIS NOTH, CHRIS PINE and OLIVIA THRILBY. Written by BEAU WILLMON and directed by DOUG HUGHES this story of behind-the-scenes political shenanigans was thoroughly entertaining and made all the more enjoyable by the performances of the three leads (THRILBY being particularly interesting). Said to be inspired by the JOHN DEAN election campaign, this story seems a completely believable picture of election machinations and back-stage back-stabbing. If you’re in the L. A. area, we can highly recommend this one.
