On this day in 1965, PARAMOUNT PICTURES released HARLOW, one of two biopics released that year based on the life of legendary actress JEAN HARLOW. Based on the tawdry bestseller by IRVING SCHULMAN and directed by GORDON DOUGLAS the film starred CARROLL BAKER, RED BUTTONS, ANGELA LANSBURY, PETER LAWFORD, MIKE CONNORS and MARTIN BALSAM. Completely wrong on so many levels, this movie remains watchable just for the presence of BAKER.
