On this day in 1980, AFD proved that you could, indeed, stop the music with the release of, quite possibly, the most embarassingly bad musical ever made (and that covers a lot of territory). Produced by ALLAN CARR, directed by NANCY WALKER and starring STEVE GUTTENBERG, VALERIE PERRINE and BRUCE JENNER the film told the revisionist history of the musical group THE VILLAGE PEOPLE. One of the all-time greatest bad movies we love.
