On this day in 1957, teens became a part of the horror world with the AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL PICTURES release of I WAS A TEENAGE WEREWOLF. Directed by GENE FOWLER JR., the film starred WHIT BISSELL, YVONNE FEDDERSON and (in the title role) MICHAEL LANDON. Between LANDON’s presence and the cheezy special effects, this one has always been a crowd pleaser.
