On this day in 1940, WARNER BROTHERS PICTURES released BROTHER ORCHID. Directed by LLOYD BACON, this gangster pic starred EDWARD G. ROBINSON as a mob boss who goes undercover (and finds solace) in a monestary. Great film and great performances.
