We just got around to listening to the Cannes press conference for QUENTIN TARENTINO’S upcoming WWII epic, INGLORIOUS BASTERDS and, wow, there’s some pretty good stuff there. Despite the huge cast list, TARENTINO talks about the ‘deal-breaker’ role that might have kept the film from being made. Listen in below for his recounting of the discovery of CHRISTOPH WALTZ for the role of Col. Hans Landa. Despite the abomination, mis-fire, bad choice that was DEATH PROOF, we’re looking forward to  we can’t f-ing WAIT for this one.
