On this day in 1963, MGM/UA released FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, the second in what would become one of the greatest movie franchises of all time. Based on the book by IAN FLEMING, the film was directed by TERRANCE YOUNG and, once again, starred SEAN CONNERY. LOTTE LENYA, ROBERT SHAW, BERNARD LEE and LOIS MAXWELL co-starred. The cold war was never so much fun as in the BOND films.
