In the upcoming MICHAEL MANN gangster pic, PUBLIC ENIMIES, the dramatic and iconic story of the F.B.I. manhunt for JOHN DILLINGER by G-Man MELVIN PURVIS gets the full-on, big-screen epic treatment. And, despite the old adage bout there being no sure things in the movie biz,  with JOHNNY DEPP (DILLINGER) and CHRISTIAN BALE (PURVIS) in the leads, a box-office hit is pretty much  guaranteed. We spoke with BALE last week about the film and he talked about how helpful it was to shoot many of the pivotal scenes on the actual locations where they took place. Listen in below:
