Director RON HOWARD understands the controversy that surrounded THE DA VINCI CODE and continues with the franchise’s new installment ANGELS AND DEMONS, which opens nationwide on Friday.  While those in the Vatican may not be the movies’ biggest fans, HOWARD believes the anger being shown by religious groups is unwarranted because, when it comes right down to it, they’re just movies.
