In her new romantic comedy, MY LIFE IN RUINS, writer/director/actor NIA VARDALOS (MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING) chose to cast for laughs by hiring her friend RACHEL DRATCH. She’d already used her in I HATE VALENTINE’S DAY but felt she was the right person for the job in this film too. VARDALOS talked to us about DRATCH and what makes her so right for roles like this.
