While J.J. Abrams’ “Lost” is winding down its run (next season will be its last), his latest show, “Fringe,” is just ramping up.  Fox’s sci-fi thriller has gained an avid core following, bolstered by its Tuesday night time slot after “American Idol,” and the “Star Trek” director thinks the show keeps getting better as it goes along.
