On this day in 1969, WARNER BROTHERS/SEVEN ARTS released what is arguably one of the worst films ever made in THE BIG CUBE. LANA TURNER plays a world reknowned actress who gets in a pissing match with her stepchildren over the estate of her dead husband. The kids then try to gaslight her using psychedelic drugs (as only bad movies in the 60’s could do). Remade a few years ago by CHARLES BUSCHE to accentuate the camp element as DIE, MOMMIE, DIE!. Both of these are must sees for ‘bad movies we love’ fans.
