It was definately a case of ‘trial by fire’ when MICHAEL KEATON got tagged to step in for director RON LAZZERETTI on THE MERRY GENTLEMAN (a film KEATON had only intended to act in). With not a lot of money and not a lot of time, KEATON tells us that getting the job done required the talents of everyone involved but that’s why filmmaking is the ‘ultimate team sport’.
