On this day in 1943, RKO RADIO PICTURES released I WALKED WITH A ZOMBIE. Directed by JACQUES TOURNEUR, this story of a Canadian nurse in the West Indies dealing with voodoo and the undead is atmospheric if nothing else. Starring FRANCIS DEE, JAMES ELLISON and TOM CONWAY, this movie scared the bejeebus out of me when I first saw it (but I was ten, so…..). Worth checking out.
