On this day in 1954, KING BROTHERS PRODUCTIONS released CARNIVAL STORY, a cheesy (almost) exploition movie starring Academy Award winner ANNE BAXTER (ALL ABOUT EVE). A German production with a supporting cast that includes STEVE COCHRAN, GEORGE NADAR and JAY C. FLIPPEN the movie’s tag line read, “The story of a woman’s shame” . Yep, that pretty much says it all.
