House” viewers were shocked to see Kal Penn leave the show when his character, Dr. Lawrence Kutner, abruptly committed suicide.  They were even more shocked when they learned the real reason behind Penn’s departure — his new gig working in the White House for President Obama’s administration.  While his new post as Associate Director at the Office of Public Liaison will undoubtedly keep him busy, he still plans to keep up with the goings-on at Princeton-Plainsboro.  Will it feel strange for Penn to watch his former co-workers carry on without him?
