On this day in 1955, WARNER BROTHERS released the big screen adaptation of JOHN STEINBECK’S classic novel, EAST OF EDEN. Directed by ELIA KAZAN and starring JULIE HARRIS, JAMES DEAN, RAYMOND MASSEY, BURL IVES, JO VAN FLEET and ALBERT DEKKER (DR. CYCLOPS also released on this day) the film continues to be looked at as genius to this day.
