HAIRSPRAY director ADAM SHANKMAN (BEDTIME STORIES) confirmed during the press conference for his upcoming comedy 17 AGAIN that the sequel to the 2007 hit, HAIRSPRAY, is in the works. Originally opposed to the idea, he says they’ve hit on a good story and MARC SHAIMAN is in the process of writing new songs. Listen in below:
