The upcoming drama THE SOLOIST tells the story of a brilliant musician forced to live on the streets because of mental illness.  Shot largely on downtown Los Angeles’ Skid Row, the film exudes a rare feeling of reality. At yesterday’s press conference for the movie, star ROBERT DOWNEY JR. talked about what he came away with from the experience.
