On this day in 1959, 20th CENTURY FOX released COMPULSION based on the best selling novel by MEYER LEVIN. This retelling of the famous LEOPOLD & LOEB murder case starred DEAN STOCKWELL and BRADFORD DILLMAN as the murderous students and ORSON WELLS as their lawyer. Great performances and a solid script make this film just as watchable today as it was when released.
