On this day in 1972, avant-guarde director JOHN WATERS premiered what would for years be his signiture film, PINK FLAMINGOS. This magnificent exercise in bad taste has held it’s place as an underground classic for over three decades (despite the fact that the star of the film actually eats dog poop on camera).
