On this day in 1953, UNITED ARTISTS released the quirky adventure drama, BEAT THE DEVIL. Directed by JOHN HOUSTON from a screenplay by TRUMAN CAPOTE, the film starred HUMPHREY BOGART, JENNIFER JONES, GINA LOLLOBRIGIDA, ROBERT MORLEY and PETER LORRE. A bit off-beat but a great cast.
