VARIETY is reporting that New Line Cinema has just given the ok to a big screen adaptation of the hit Broadway musical DAMN YANKEES. Set to star are JIM CARREY and JAKE GYLLENHALL. It will be produced by the guys who brought us HAIRSPRAY, NEIL MARON and CRAIG ZADAN.
