We’re having a WOODSTOCK week so indulge us. Yesterday marked the anniversary of the death of MAX YASGAR, the man who owned the farm on which the legendary music festival was held. Tomorrow night is the premier of DEMETRI MARTIN’s new TV show on Comedy Central (IMPORTANT THINGS) and, later this year, MARTIN will be seen in director ANG LEE’s new movie, FINDING WOODSTOCK. Not to mention that this year is the 40th anniversay of the festival itself.
To celebrate all this WOOSTOCK convergence, we dug out an interview we did with ARLO GUTHERIE (ALICE’S RESTARAUNT) in which he talked about his experience of being a performer on the WOODSTOCK stage. Listen in below:
