It was with more than just a little excitement that we sat down with bestselling author NEIL GAIMAN to talk about his upcoming animated 3-D film, CORALINE and the recent announcement that his THE GRAVEYARD BOOK had just won the coveted Newbery Medal from the American Library Association for acheivement in Children’s Literature. When we expressed surprise that he hasn’t won more awards, GAIMEN explained that the Newbery is one of the few American lit prizes he qualifies for. Listen in below:
