STEPHEN J. CANNELL’S latest novel, ON THE GRIND, brings back his popular L.A. cop character, Shane Scully, in a page turning thriller that finds Scully pitted against dirty cops and corrupt city officials.

This is the xx novel featuring Scully and CANNELL writes this guy like he’s a member of the family. We spoke with the author in his Hollywood office and asked if, when inventing Scully, he didn’t have to reveal a bit of himself.
