On this day in 1955, M-G-M released BAD DAY AT BLACK ROCK, a post-war moral fable directed by JOHN STURGES and starring SPENCER TRACY, ROBERT RYAN, ANNE FRANCIS, DEAN JAGGER, WALTER BRENNAN, ERNEST BORGNINE and LEE MARVIN. Nominated for three Academy Awards, the film still packs a punch today.
